I live in Lexington and drive a LONG way to Base 10 because the results have been so awesome. I’ve tried the more mainstream gyms (with ellipticals and what not), simply because it is closer to where I live – but it is not even close to the atmosphere Base 10 provides, and I can get away with skipping things I hate doing (like running). Since I’ve started, I’ve been able to lose around 30 pounds… and that’s with not too much harsh dieting. I love this gym so much, and the results show my dedication. I’m super proud that at this age I’ve already developed an actual real passion for fitness, and that’s not something I could have found at the big box gyms.

WHAT MUSIC DAY PUMPS YOU UP THE MOST IN THE GYM?

Rock or early 2000s hits. Something with high energy that can help me zone out and stay motivated.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE TYPE OF WORKOUT?

Strength-based for sure. Maybe with some abs mixed in – as long as I can avoid running, I’m happy.

WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE GUILTY PLEASURE?

Cookout or Five Guys. I can’t resist a good cookout tray or a bag of fries from Five Guys.
