I started Base 10 because I wanted to lose weight for my sister’s wedding. Now, I’m not only in the best shape of my life, but I don’t even care how much I weigh.
I didn’t even realize how far I had come until the weather started changing and none of my pants fit me anymore! Last time I weighed myself I had lost right around 10 lbs, and I’ve dropped 3 pant sizes.
When I started, I could barely run a mile. Now I can not only run a mile pretty easily, but I can squat and deadlift more than my body weight, do pull-ups, and even some handstand push-ups.
WHAT MUSIC DAY PUMPS YOU UP THE MOST IN THE GYM?
I like music that’s fast paced, I don’t really care about the artist or genre but it has to be something to keep me moving!
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE TYPE OF WORKOUT?
My favorite workouts are the ones that are really long, for time. It feels like more of a race than the others.
WHAT’S YOUR FAVORITE GUILTY PLEASURE?
That has to be watermelon sour patch kids. I eat them at least once a week!
